Project:
Eight-Page Brochure

Purpose:
In this project the student must carry a consistent design theme throughout the brochure, working with text type, display type, head, subheads, captions, folios, and a grid.

Assignment:
First, the student must select a topic that is of interest and one for which there is a plentiful supply of illustrations. This project requires a grid. For copy, the student will write the text or use dummy type. Regardless of the choice, there should be accurate heads, subheads, captions, and folios. Final designs should include all the typographic elements mentioned above.

Research and compile images and text for the design of 8-page brochure. Sources can be varied: magazines, books, flyers, from the Internet, etc. The better the source materials are, the easier it will be to design the project.
