We are proud to announce that all of our labs have been upgraded to the new Adobe CS3 Design Premium and Web Premium Suites!

The Golden West College Digital Arts Department has over 120+ state of the art Apple G5 Macintosh workstations in 4 labs plus a printing room. Each lab has an instructor workstation and large format overhead projector so everyone in the room can see demonstrations. All the workstations are networked to 2 Apple Xserve servers that allow students to access there accounts and customized desktops at any workstation in the building.

Each lab has access to 4 HP4600 Color laser printers, our wide format (22") Epson 7600 photo printer and 4 HP4350 Black and White laser printers. Also available is a Nikon 35mm slide scanner and 4 Epson 3200 color flat bed scanners.

All of the workstation have the following software installed for the 2007 semesters:

• Adobe CS3 Master Suite: Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, InDesign CS3, Acrobat 8, GoLive CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, Flash Pro CS3, Fireworks CS3
• QuarkXpress 7
• Microsoft Office X 2004: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Web Browsers: Safari, Firefox
